Make the Reader narrower and less PC!

Lance from Shanghai suggests that the Reader needs a narrower viewpoint and more politically-incorrect content. We respectfully disagree.

Your web page is too wide. Can’t you make it a bit narrower or make it fill say 90% of the window instead of some fixed figure such as 913 pixels? Non-PC users don’t generally like their web browser window to hog the entire display screen area.

The Walkerville Weekly Reader is targeted toward intelligent, sensitive, caring readers. People who call themselves “non politically correct” are not, and will never be, part of our target audience.

As far as narrowing our viewpoint, we at the Reader believe that a wide viewpoint is more appropriate for a national newspaper. I’ve provided a sample screenshot of my own desktop to show just how wide a viewpoint we accept for our paper, compared to the viewpoints of most web pages.

We know that our readers share our views, except for a few politically-incorrect ugly racists.
